Terms of Service
The terms and conditions that govern your use of our website, products, and services.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, applications and services operated by Cubie Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”), including cubietec.com, ChatCubie, Cubie FX and CubieAI (together, the “Services”).
By creating an account or using any part of the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who may use the Services
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services, and at least 18 if you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other organisation. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Some Services have additional age or eligibility requirements, which are stated on the relevant product.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Please tell us promptly at legal@cubietec.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to do anything unlawful, harmful or abusive. Detailed rules are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you create, upload or send through the Services. We do not claim ownership of your messages, files, journal entries or generated output.
To operate the Services we need a limited licence to host, store, transmit and display your content — for example, to deliver a message to its recipient or to show your own data back to you. That licence exists only so we can run the Services for you, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to backups that expire on a normal cycle.
5. Our content
The Services, including software, design, text, graphics and trademarks, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. See our Intellectual Property Policy for details on what you may and may not do with them.
6. Paid plans
Some Services are free. Where a Service is paid, the price, billing period and included features are stated at the point of purchase. Fees are charged in advance and, unless stated otherwise, renew automatically until cancelled.
Cancellation and refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. Taxes may be added depending on your location.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Services available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect paid customers.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, or if continued provision would create a security or legal risk. Where practical and lawful, we will tell you why.
9. Disclaimers and limits
The Services are provided “as is”. Please read our Disclaimer, which explains important limitations — in particular that Cubie FX provides tools and information only and does not provide financial or investment advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will give notice through the Services or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Jashore have jurisdiction over any dispute, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
