This Cookie Policy explains how Cubie Technologies uses cookies and similar technologies on cubietec.com and our products, and how you can control them.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Cookies let a site remember things between page loads and visits — for example that you are signed in. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage, and this policy covers those too.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to function. These keep you signed in, protect against cross-site request forgery, remember your cookie choices, and balance load across servers. They cannot be switched off through our banner because the Services will not work without them.

Functional

Remember preferences such as your timezone, language, theme and per-conversation settings. Disabling these means you will need to set your preferences again on each visit.

Analytics

Help us understand which pages and features are used, and where people run into problems. This data is aggregated and used to improve the Services. These are only set with your consent.

Marketing

We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent before setting them.

3. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by services we rely on:

• Google — where you use Google Sign-In, for authentication
• Analytics provider — where you have consented to analytics
• Content delivery and storage providers — for security and performance

These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, which govern their use of the data they collect.

4. How long they last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a set period — typically up to twelve months for preferences, and up to thirty days for sign-in sessions, after which you will need to sign in again.

You can change your choices at any time through the cookie settings link in our footer. You can also control cookies in your browser:

Blocking all cookies will prevent you from signing in and will stop parts of the Services from working.

6. Do Not Track

Browsers vary in how they implement Do Not Track and there is no agreed standard for responding to it. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies, so there is nothing for the signal to disable.

We update this policy when our use of cookies changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
